I've been working on a quick and easy way to post travel notes now for more than a year.  I'm getting closer; but, this method still requires that I use Frontpage to edit notes and structure the Travelnotes web.  Maybe I'll think of something before June.

I continue to read travel books.  The latest is Jupiter's Travels by Ted Simon.  He made his four year trip in the 1970's but many of his personal observations still ring true.  And, it planted an idea in my head.  Why not buy a motorcycle in Australia so I can get to some of the out of the way places on that spacious continent.  I'll have to find out what kind of red tape is involved if I want to sell it in New Zealand.

I've begun reading guidebooks for the locations I plan to visit early in the trip.  It makes the day of departure seem closer.
