1-2SEP2004 Wales was a beautiful place to ride. The hills were green and the roads were good. Coming off the ferry late at night, I had to stay at a fairly expensive hotel. But, the next night I asked to pitch my tent behind a country pub. I had a really good steak and a few bottles of ale and slept like a baby. I haven't seen so many sheep since New Zealand. The little white dots were everywhere. The hills had that look that sheep give: like a soft green lawn. |
