Love Story

On November 19, 2005 I married Nee. I met Nee when I visited Thailand in 2002. I fell in love with her beautiful smile and joy for life.

A Test of Love

After two years with Nee, I was feeling the travel itch again. So, in March of 2004, I packed my bags and headed through Asia, Europe and America. I told Nee I would return and she said she would wait for me. Now, I figured that was a test of love.

Love and Marriage

Nee waited for my return in February of 2005. Now we live in Udon Thani, a big city in Isan Province in northeastern Thailand. I teach English at the Rajabhat University. I plan to teach for many years and retire in Thailand. We bought some property and we're planning to build a house after we get back from America. A happy ending to a great adventure?

Heartbreak

Nee left me in June of 2007. Why? She didn't give me a good reason. So, now I'm finishing up my teaching contract and making plans to hit the road again.

On the Road Again (March 2008)

I'm back in the US traveling by motorcycle. I've visited friends and family and gone as far north as the top of Alaska. Now I'm headed south to Central America.

Life Goes On

I'm back in Udon. I looked around Central America for a place to settle but I kept comparing things to Thailand. Finally I decided to return to Thailand. I'll hang around until my next big adventure.
